Welcome! I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Niehaus Center for Globalization and Governance at Princeton University. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from Ohio State University in August 2011 and in the Fall of 2012 I will join the Department of History and Politics at Drexel University in Philadelphia. My current research focuses on the design and performance of international organizations (IOs). My dissertation, "The Politics of IO Performance" investigates the factors that influence IO effectiveness in providing domestic public goods in recipient countries. Empirical work in the dissertation focuses on human security broadly defined, with an emphasis on climate change and global health issues. My other interests include IR theory and questions of IO accountability and legitimacy. I am also currently involved with projects related to global climate finance and domestic and international policy diffusion.
